Our founder was inspired after a trip to India. Propelled by the fascination of a staple drink in India, usually made by hand at home.

In 2023, our founder set sights onto creating the staple to be available for family and friends to enjoy.

Throughout the journey of perfecting the sweet and tangy blends creativity flourished and thus came about Mosimbi.

When telling the family about starting a beverage company the family recalled the stories of our founder’s great grandfather who was known as “Soda Anapa.”

Many years ago to make a living the founder’s great grandfather would sell soda out of a cart in the streets of southern India.

He was well known throughout the towns of his passion for drinks.

Our founder did not know that and was pleased to hear the entrepreneurial spirit that runs in the family.

Thus came about Mosimbi’s passion to deliver this staple and many other flavors. As well as using all natural sweeteners replacing the use of sugar.

Mosimbi’s founder is now balancing life, work, and dog care.
